Moreover, the rough and difficult life of the Parisian suburbs is depicted very vividly through the struggle between the half-brothers. It is therefore natural that many of you ask yourself the question of where The Shadow King was filmed. Luckily for you, we have an answer to this question!
Where was Le Blues du Maestro filmed?
The Shadow King was filmed entirely in France, particularly in Paris and the Paris region. Principal photography for the film began in May 2022 and was completed in June of the same year. Almost all the essential sequences of The Shadow King have been filmed in the region of Paris, the French capital.
As the film takes place in the suburbs of the city, the director and his team traveled from the center of the metropolis to one of the suburbs to shoot most of the exterior and interior scenes for Kaaris’ film.
Many film studios were used by the production team of ‘In His Shadow’, such as Les Studios de Paris, la Cité du Cinéma, and ABEL14 Studio. While violent crime is relatively rare in the inner city, the rate increases the further one moves into the outer suburbs.
This is why the cast and crew have strategically filmed most of the movie The Shadow King in the suburbs in order to add authenticity to the narrative.
