Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui wrote and illustrated the Japanese manga series Record of Ragnarok, also known as Shmatsu no Warukyre or “Doomsday Valkyrie”. It’s a fight between famous historical figures and deities from various mythologies, with the fate of mankind hanging in the balance. The manga has released 74 chapters, and the next one should be out soon. Before going into the details, let’s look at the summary of the previous chapter.
Record of Ragnarok Chapter 74 Summary
Chapter 74 of Record of Ragnarok discusses Tesla’s past and his relationship with his older brother, Dane. We learn that Dane died while working on a windmill. Dane dies in the chapter leaving his work unfinished. Tesla continues Dane’s work after his death by stating that Dane will live on through science. The chapter also discusses Beelzebub’s past, his relationship with Hades, and how he experienced his childhood. Hades saved Beelzebub’s life as a child. Beelzebub and Hades shared a brotherly relationship.
The focus is on the future, and we see that Tesla used one of his coils to save himself from Beelzebub’s attacks. The chapter ends with the invocation of a dangerous spell by Beelzebub. The entire arena darkens, with clouds gathering at the top. Read below for more spoilers on the upcoming chapter.
Ragnarok File Chapter 75 Spoilers
Tesla is in charge of the Gematria Zone and is constantly trying to find a solution to fight Beelzebub. Although Beelzebub and Tesla are exhausted and don’t have much energy left, Tesla’s costume makes him even more powerful. Beelzebub attempts to use his Void attack again, but none of these hits hit the target. Tesla still has one coil left, so maybe he can avoid this onslaught. The inability of Gods and Humans to predict the outcome of the game leaves them speechless. Thus, Beelzebub considers alternatives to unleashing his void to defeat Tesla. Tesla’s movements are already observed by Beelzebub, who then attacks him.
Tesla warns Beelzebub that his excessive use of vibrational power will also have adverse effects. The views of Tesla and Beelzebub are given to us, Tesla believing that God and mankind can come to a satisfactory conclusion. Beelzebub thinks only of defeating Tesla, even if it means risking his own life. As Lilith’s tattoo begins to react and attempts to stop Beelzebub, Beelzebub continues to launch a volley of assaults. He’s putting everything on the line to win this fight, and he doesn’t want Lilith to stop him.
We can see a vast field of vibrations forming on the battlefield as Beelzebub intensifies his vibrations. Tesla is a bit slow to find out because he can’t accomplish anything there and thinks the attack can’t be stopped. Instead of using another Tesla coil, Tesla relies on the protection of his armor.
He is mortally wounded and thanks Beelzebub for devising a new strategy. When Tesla finally declares he has been freed, Beelzebub sends a dark wave of vibrations in his direction. He carefully observes Beelzebub, releases his last coil and acquires a new power. His entire body is engulfed in electricity as he gains strength and speed.
