Not Too Soon was filmed entirely in Italy, especially in Rome. Principal photography for Edoardo Leo’s film reportedly began in early October 2021 and wrapped around a month later in November of that year.

With the story taking place in Italy, it makes sense that the production team used Italian locations to film several important scenes of the dramatic comedy.

The filming unit of Not too soon settled in the picturesque and culturally rich Italian city of Rome and its surroundings, taking advantage of the unique landscape of the city to film many key sequences of the film.

At first glance, during production, the director and his team were spotted in the suburbs of Rome film many crucial sequences in the green pastures.

Along with iconic Roman and Imperial architecture, Rome is also home to modern Fascist architecture, as can be seen throughout the film.
