Jinx Chapter 17 will lead to an important development in the story, as Jaekyung will act as the savior for once. Kim Dan is out of luck, and it’s not just her story, but as the chapters go by, we see how. Things start looking up for him, then they take a turn for the worse from an unexpected moment. Also, all the while, he was seen as the main protagonist who would take down Jaekyung, but the opposite happened, and his mind was in a mess.
It’s no surprise, as Kim Dan has no real connections outside of her grandmother; he is a loner with great responsibilities. And unfortunately for him, some people took advantage of his situation. Some people intimidated him to extort money from him because of his situation. They knew about his situation and took advantage of it to extort money from him, but they remained silent for some time. We last saw them when Kim Dan was beaten by them before passing out on Jaekyung.
Jinx Chapter 16 Recap
Kim Dan was preparing to move to Jinx Chapter 16, as her apartment was about to be demolished. He was looking for a place to rent until he had more money to move to a better house, but the expense was not cheap. There were a lot of things he had to do to pay his expenses and make sure everything was going well. However, it took a lot of the money he didn’t have enough to pay his rent. This includes the advanced sum he received from Jaekyung.
To make matters worse, his bullies caught him phoning to pay his rent and decided to have a chat with him. Meanwhile, Jaekyung was waiting for Kim, who wanted to accompany him to the hospital for a check-up.
He was upset that Kim went back on her word and asked her coach if he had made any other calls about her absence. His trainer was just as lost as he was and told him he might have something too urgent, adding that Kim had warned them ahead of time. His coach asked him to check in on him, to which Jaekyung didn’t show much interest.
Jinx Chapter 17 Spoilers
Jinx Chapter 17 will finally see the clash between Jaekyung and Kim’s tyrants after so many chapters. We’ve been waiting for this for quite a while, and the time has finally come. Although there were many detours, we finally reached the point where Jaekyung was able to learn more about Kim Dan’s life.
While it would be nice to see Jaekyung be the one to feel something for Kim, there’s still time for that. His only reaction to what happened with Kim would be pure rage. He’s the one who employed Kim for his needs, so when he sees thugs abusing him, he loses his temper. However, he won’t be too direct, as he is a national celebrity who is under the media’s gaze. How he behaves with them will be very interesting.
