This subtle, realistic love story by Carlos Montero had enough material to keep viewers entertained while telling a predictable yet interesting tale of two lovers. While it’s nearly impossible to build an entirely new film around love, given genre stereotypes and storytelling limitations, Every time we loved each other had a lot of cool stuff to offer the viewers.

Explanation of the end of Season 1 of Every Time we loved each other
To the End of Season 1 of Every Time We Loved Each Other, Irene may know that Julio’s return to her life will change her mind and she wants to avoid ending up with him and the pain she will feel in marrying Fer as soon as possible. Julio, however, confronts Irene on his wedding day, forcing her to choose between him and Fer.
The final break between Irene and Julio occurs when the latter becomes obsessed with his films and the prizes he can potentially win. He distracts himself from his life with Irene by engaging in parties and interviews that celebrate him. But when Irene is faced with having to choose between Julio and Fer, at the End of Season 1 of Every Time We Loved Each Other, the actor is no longer the same naive person. He has matured enough to respect and appreciate Irene’s individuality and her presence in his life.
For these reasons, at the End of Season 1 of Every Time We Loved Each Other,Irene might be tempted to choose Julio over Fer once again. That said, Fer shouldn’t give up hope. Irene’s reunion with Fer brought her enough comfort and security for her to even agree to marry him. Irène wrote a screenplay during her stay in Madrid and she could try to make a film on her own, without Julio’s help.
